Congratulations to Maddox Rader for earning the 2023 WVSSAC Academic Achievement Male-Athlete Award! Maddox was chosen out of all applicants from WVSSAC member schools.
Maddox excels academically and involved in NHS, Student Council, and Senior Class Council. He is a multi-sport athlete who has been involved in football, swimming, tennis, and track. Maddox is a 2X WV State High School Swimming State Champion (2022,2023) and a 2022 WV State High School Powerlifting Champion. He is the creator and leader of Mad’s Muscle Men, a volunteer service created to help people and families affected by addiction.
Mad’s Muscle Men provides labor in exchange for a donation to give people and families struggling with addiction. Mad’s Muscle Men has also donated funds to the Wood County Coalition to help fight against addiction.
