Wood BOE meets twice April 16
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will hold two meetings on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
The board will meet in statutory session at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The sole items on the agenda is the statutory approval of levy rates.
Following that meeting, the board will reconvene at 6 p.m. at Parkersburg South High School for the first of three LSIC Showcase events. The events will allow Local School Improvement Councils from feeder schools to share accomplishments and unique programs with the community. Showcases also will be held at Williamstown Middle High School on April 22 and Parkersburg High School on April 25. All three events run from 6-8 p.m. and are open to the public.
